Highlights

Several popular options are standard for 2007 on the S-Type, which occupies the middle of Jaguar's sedan range in size and price. Three models continue: the 235-hp V6 3.0, the 300-hp V8 4.2, and the supercharged 400-hp V8 R. All have a 6-speed automatic transmission. Standard are ABS, traction/antiskid control, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. Previously optional features now standard include heated front seats for the 3.0 and a navigation system and front obstacle detection for the 4.0. All models also have driver-seat memory and power pedals for '07. Aluminum interior trim is no longer offered. The R has a sport suspension, exclusive mesh grille, and larger wheels and tires.
