Blogger Beta Tab Menu Template

elow are the instructions on how to turn "Labels into Menu Tabs," my third hacking attempt. Many thanks for the Exploding Boy website for making it free for everyone to use (I just couldn't help it by referring to a Beatles song, but indeed your contribution to this hack is about 75%, I'd say :-)

Step 0: Label your posts.

Make sure your blog has some posts with label assigned, otherwise nothing will get created. See this topic on how to create labels:

Step 1: Downloading and unzipping the file from the Exploding Boy website

(You can skip this step if you are going to use Mr. Ramani's hosted pics in step 4.)

Here are the downloading and sample links:

Step 2: Adding a label widget to the sidebar of the Page Elements interface.

First, go to Template ->Page Elements. In your sidebar there should be a "Add new Page Element" link. Click on it. A window opens.

In that window, select one called "Label". This opens yet another window. Accept the default settings by select "save".

Now there should have another box appears right under the "Add new page element" in your sidebar. This is the new label for use in our hack. For more help, see this topic:

Step 3: Changing the Header to become appendable.
